Brittany Jones is a glory carrier. She is in love with God, his bride the church, and the lost. Brittany seeks to point to the beauty, holiness, and splendor of God with her thoughts, actions, and ultimately her life. She is not only a gifted psalmist and worship leader, but God has graced her to pen songs that transform lives.  She is an anointed National Gospel Recording Artist hailing from Dallas, TX with a unique style and talent that leaves listeners spiritually touched as she ministers in song. Anyone fortunate enough to listen to Brittany will agree that she is a psalmist that carries a presence of the anointing far beyond her years.

Brittany sang through grade school and began directing gospel choirs in high school. Soon after, she became the Minister of Music at the Marvellous Light Community Church, Pastor Eugene Johnson, where she led worship and directed the choir for 16 years.

After college, God began to divinely order her steps to meet and connect with some of the cities most anointed local gospel artists’. In addition, churches all over Dallas began to request that she minister through song in their services. She has been afforded the opportunity to grace the stage with artist such as Vickie Winans, Crystal Aikin, Gaye Arbuckle Sneed, Candy West, Kathy Taylor, Kirk Franklin, Beverly Crawford, Geoffrey Golden, Jonathon McReynolds, Ernest Pugh, Chrystal Rucker, Fred Hammond, and the Dallas Chapter of GMWA. Brittany has been a featured soloist for the three-time Emmy winning Black Academy of Arts and Letters Civil Rights Concert for 3 years. She was even featured on BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel as a lead soloist with Dr. Patrick Bradley and the Westside Baptist Church Choir in 2014.

In the summer of 2011, God began to give Brittany psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to help her commemorate the lessons He had taught her and the revelations He wanted her to teach to others. In January of 2012, God gave her the vision to form a group of young believers who were adamant about expressing praises to God through song. God gave her the name “Identity”. In a world constantly shifting and changing, Christ the solid rock gives stability and identity.

Brittany and Identity released their 1st album “Broken for a Blessing” in August of 2013. The group has since then been awarded 2014 Ensemble of the Year at the Texas Gospel Music Awards, and Brittany was nominated Songwriter of the Year at the Rhythm of Gospel Awards in 2014 and Female Vocalist of the Year for the Homegrown Gospel Awards in 2015. In July 2016, Brittany presented “In Everything Give Thanks” from the album at the 48th Annual Gospel Music Workshop of America in New Orleans, and July 2018 she presented “Sweet Exchange” to the 50th GMWA in Atlanta.

In 2018 God afforded Brittany the opportunity to lead worship at the Potter’s House of Fort Worth, Pastor Patrick Winfield. In 2019, Brittany became the official Worship Leader and Vocal Director where she currently serves.

Brittany founded the Glory Carriers Masterclass in 2020 and has served as consultant and clinician to many music ministries across the nation. In February of 2020, she hosted her first Glory Carriers Maserclass where music ministry leaders and musicians gathered to refuel, refresh and realign themselves for ministry in their local churches.

With the turn of the new year, new opportunities and partnerships have afforded Brittany to record and release new music. She is currently working on her second album: Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs to be released Fall of 2020.   Brittany believes that God has anointed her to teach, encourage, and admonish His people to trust in His unlimited power and everlasting love.  She desires to reach someone searching for their Identity and to ultimately draw more souls to Christ by lifting Him up. She is married to her music and ministry partner Leroy Jones.
